Never been kissed

I have NEVER had my first kiss!! I have had one boyfriend, and we went out for three days! (we both wanted to break up.) The day he asked me out, he did kiss me… ON THE CHEEK!


I’m 13, and I have friends who are guys, but guys think of me as “friend” material, not GF material. I have never even held hands with a guy!
I’ve gotten hugs, PLENTY, but never my first kiss or held hands with a guy. It makes me jealous because all of my other friends have been kissed, and have had way more boyfriends than me, and have held hands. When I see them with their boyfriends and all that, I don’t even want to be with them. It makes me feel left out because when you’re the only one without a guy around your waist, or holding hands, they treat you like the third wheel. I know I sound desperate, but I just need advice…

These things take time. You will eventually get kissed, don’t worry! If you really like a boy, ask him out. There is no rule that says you can’t do the asking! But if there isn’t a certain someone, don’t stress too much about your boy sitch.


Hang out with some of your single gal pals or schedule boy-free time with your coupled-up friends. The right guy will come around when you aren’t looking so hard. Boyfriends are not everything! They’re fun but definitely not required.
