You may recognize Dara Reneé from her *incredible* role as Kourtney on the Disney+ original High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. When she's not starring in musicals like HSMTMTS, Freaky Friday or West Side Story, she's working hard on her acting, with a recurring role on the hit ABC series black-ish. Dara is going to perform her original Evolution at the BTS Music Takeover, and she opened up about what inspired the song: "I wrote this song as a tribute to all the black men and women who inspire me daily. During these times I have been gaining knowledge on the magic of my culture...y'all have been giving me the courage to keep writing and I appreciate that. [sic]"
