Life on the D-List

The Washington Post recently reported that everyone from infants to adolescents should double their daily dose of Vitamin D. The American Academy of Pediatrics is hoping that the increase will prevent osteoporosis and maybe even diabetes and some cancers.

Vitamin D is found in fatty fish, like salmon, and fortified foods, like milk (a cup of milk has almost a quarter of the daily recommendation). Docs are suggesting taking a supplement (like a daily vitamin) to stock up on this vital vitamin.

So, are you gonna gulp more milk to make this happen? Or will you take a vitamin to bulk your bones?
