This new app is basically the Snapchat of shopping

If you thought you had all the amazing apps you could ever need, you thought wrong!

YEAY, a new shopping app, is similar to Depop and run-of-the-mill sites such as eBay or Etsy that allow you to make money off of your own items. What's different about it, though, is that you shop using video, instead of plain ol' photos. Just like Snapchat, you can post your own videos (in this case, vids of clothes to sell) or you can browse pre-existing videos (items posted by other sellers). When you browse, short clips of someone wearing the item auto play so you're able to get a look at how the piece fits an actual person, instead of just what it looks like on a hanger. Some vids also feature designers and sellers talking about the story behind the clothes. Who doesn't love a little bit of fashion history?!

You can shop from your friend's virtual closets, as well as the closets of your favorite brands, such as Nasty Gal. They have curated shoppable lists, too, that allow you to "Dress Like Miley Cyrus" or "Powerful Women." Sounds perfect for getting that celeb-inspired New Year's Eve look or if you're trying to doll yourself up as Beyoncé next Halloween.

Simply, the app makes it easier to shop on the go and connect with the brands you love—and didn't *know* that you love—in one convenient place. We think that's pretty amazing!

Will you try YEAY out? Do you prefer to shop on your phone or on your computer? Sound off in the comments!
