Arthur Ashe Kids' Day through the eyes of Tegan Marie

Arthur Ashe Kids' Day is an amazing annual event just for *you* the combines music with tennis to honor the life and legacy of tennis legend Arthur Ashe. The event was held over the weekend in New York City and overflowed with fun, sports and music. Some incredibly big names have performed in the past, including Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes and Fifth Harmony, and now 12-year-old country singer Tegan Marie can count herself among those amazing artists.

Between opening up for Hunter Hayes and showcasing her talents on Good Morning America recently, Tegan has already had one heck of a year. And Arthur Ashe Kids' Day just adds to the list of amazing things 2016 has brought her way.

Tegan exclusively shared snaps with us so we can see exactly what she got up to during her day at the festival. Looks like in addition to singing for a crowd of cheering fans, she also met some pretty famous faces, chatted with our friends at Radio Disney and, well, you'll just have to check the pics and deets straight from T to find out the rest!

Tegan: I kicked off my day at Arthur Ashe Kids' Day doing a really fun spoken word piece to Flo Rida's hit song, "Welcome to My House" for Sweety High and Radio Disney.

Next up: performing! Here I am after just finishing up my set. I was so taken aback by how amazing all the fans were. We had *such* an amazing time!

Not only did I get to do the spoken word piece on Flo Rida's song for Sweety High, I *also* got to hang out with him—talk about an OMG moment! He is one of the coolest guys in the world.

I also loved meeting Olympic swimmer Simone Manuel—she is such an inspiration to all young females out there. Check out the gold and silver medals she won in Rio this year!

Here I am being interviewed by Cassie from Sweety High and Alex from Radio Disney. We had so much fun!

To close out the day, I hung out with the cutie Ansel Elgort and my faves Forever in Your Mind. They were all so nice!
