You can *still* wear your fave summer pieces into fall

While we absolutely love back-to-school shopping, it can be hard to say goodbye to your favorite summer outfits. But what if we told you that you don’t have to put away your white jeans and your fave tanks just yet? We have your guide to transitioning your summer clothes into your BTS wardrobe.

White jeans
Whoever said you can’t wear white after Labor Day was seriously wrong. Rock your white jeans year round by updating them with weather appropriate pieces. For a chilly morning, pair them with a cute tee and a cardi that you can take off if the temps rise. You can even wear them into winter with booties or OTK boots!

Sandals
Summer truly feels over when you have to put away your beloved sandals. Extend their lifetime by pairing them with jeans and sweaters. Just steer clear of wearing white or pastel sandals once the temps cool and wear your more neutral or leather pairs. Try painting your toes a darker color to make the look more fall-like.

Tanks
Fall fashion is all about layering. Lucky for you, there are *so* many ways to top your trusty tank for fall. Try a cuddly cardi and jeans, or a denim jacket and a cute skirt. You could even pair your tank + cardi combo with jean shorts for days when it'll be chilly in the morning, but warmer by third period. The key is to wear a more fall-inspired item on the bottom to make the look work for cooler temps. Your items that are more of a fall hue (think: darker tones, anything that makes you think of falling leaves) will take you well into winter.

Dresses
Nothing is easier than throwing on a dress. You don’t have to worry about making sure your top and bottoms look good together, and most dresses are seriously comfy. Your fave summer frocks can become fall ready with the addition of some layers. Pair a tank dress with a cardi or snag a denim jacket to take your fave dress into fall.
