Transform yourself into an *actual* mermaid with these style sea-crets

If you secretly want to be a mermaid (and who doesn't?!), well, now you totally can. All it takes is a little strategizing when it omes to styling your outfit. Transform yourself from head to toe with these perf fashion pieces to be an IRL Ariel.

Hair
The first, and maybe most important, step in mastering your mermaid look is perfecting your locks. You can dye your whole head of hair pastel blue, ombre the tips a few colors or if your parents would seriously die before they let you touch hair dye, you can give your hair some mermaid vibes by adding in some loose waves and letting it hang. So simple, yet totally gorgeous.

Makeup: Eyeshadow
Mermaids = glitter. Amp up your eyes with a gorgeous pink shimmery shadow

Makeup: Eyelashes
Once your eyes are sparkling, spruce up your lashes with a curling mascara. They'll look *flawless*. 

Makeup: Lipgloss
Finish off your glam look with a pretty pink gloss. It'll tie everything together without going overboard. 

Shirt
On to your actual outfit—instead of walking around in a sea shell bra (because, let's be real, that's kinda awkward!) throw on a crop top in a bright or pastel color. Pink, purple, blue and green are all fab options.

Shoes
Since you won't be sporting fins, make sure your shoes are included in your look. Add shoe clips to your flip flops. Try out starfish, shells or dolphins for under the sea vibes.
