Everything busy girls need in their makeup bag

Between school, sports, SGA and your social life, you have a lot going on and like a true girl boss, you want to look good doing it all, too. When will you have the time in between practice and meetings to glam up for that date with your crush Friday night? Don't fret. We've got you covered. Take note of everything you need to insure that you're slaying even if you only have five minutes to pull it together.

Makeup bag
The first thing every girl on the move needs is a super cute and compact makeup bag to hold a few key items you may need in a pinch. This one from Forever 21 is the perfect size to toss in your bag.

Skin
Even if you’re not wearing makeup at the moment, you never know when you may want to wipe down your face and just refresh your skin. You can find the travel-sized pack of Neutrogena makeup remover and cleansing wipes at Target. Having some rose water or any other kind of toner that you can mist on to your face is nice to have on hand, as well. When you’re feeling tired, a quick spritz of Mario Badescu rose water can really lift your mood.

Face
BB cream is perfect for when you need light coverage and don’t have time to blend out foundation. You can just rub it onto your skin like lotion. If you’re a highlight fanatic, try a highlighting stick like the Benefit Watts Up for a natural and effortless glow.

Eyes
Who has time for palettes and brushes when you’re on the go? Eyeshadow in stick form is the perfect solution. Revlon has eye art sticks that have a metallic cream shadow on one end and a stunning glitter on the other. Just swipe it on your lid and you’re ready for whatever comes your way. P.S. Don't forget to throw a mascara in your makeup bag, too, to complete your look.

Lips
It’s always a good idea to keep some kind of chapstick with you to keep your lips nice and moist. You also want to have a few lippie options in your arsenal. You can never go wrong with a clear gloss, a nude lipstick or pencil and two bold lip options, a dark color for night and a brighter color for the daytime.

What's a makeup essential for your on-the-go routine?
