Does your dry skin make you less confident? A new study investigates

It’s completely normal to experience dry skin from time to time, especially when the weather gets colderand it's a *total* bummer. Dove recently conducted a survey and found that 67% of women don't feel as confident when they have dry skin. Yikes. While we're firm believers that true confidence begins within, it's also important to have healthy, soft skin that makes you feel happy and beautiful.

Below, we've rounded up some of our all-time favorite moisturizing products and soft-skin tips. Scroll through, then head to the bottom of the page to peep the full Dove study (you might be surprised at some of the results!).

St. Ives Nourish & Soothe Oatmeal & Shea Butter Body Lotion, $5
Frustrated with flakiness? Look no further than this fab find. The rich shea butter offers a boost of nourishment that will relieve even the most itchy, scaly skin. For super soft feet, slather lotion on before bed and then slip into a pair of light cotton socks. You'll wake up with the most touchable toes.

Nivea Crème Moisture Body Wash, $4
Don't wait until you're out of the shower to soothe your skin. This 2-in-1 lotion and body wash is the perfect cleansing combo. Pro tip: As tempting as it is to crank up the heat in your shower, try a lukewarm temp instead. It's gentler on your skin and won't dry it out so much.

Dove Dry Oil Beauty Bar,  $4
This isn't your ordinary soap. Made with a unique blend of moisturizing cream and Moroccan Argan Oil, this beauty bar will leave your skin softer and smoother after just one wash. Hello, gorgeous glow.

No7 Beautiful Skin Night Cream, $15
When temps dip, skip the lightweight moisturizer and move to the heavy stuff. Apply this cream to a freshly washed face and leave on overnight for best results. Bonus: It uses a hypoallergenic formula so it's great for sensitive skin, too.

Trader Joe's Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, $15
We're gonna let you in on a little secret: Coconut oil isn't just for the kitchen. Put a tablespoon-sized scoop in your hands and let it liquify (it starts out as solid in the jar). Rub into your skin and pat any excess oil with a towel for mega-hydration.
