    Primp and prep

Wet a washcloth with warm water and scrub your lips for a few seconds. This will smooth them and get rid of any extra dead skin. Next, apply lip balm to moisturize before adding color.

    Line 'em up

Using a liner prevents your lipstick from running outside of your lip line and makes your pout look fuller. Carefully trace the pencil around the natural line of your lips, then fill in the rest of your kisser using the same liner. This base layer will help those lips stay pucker perferct all night long.

    Lay on the lipstick

Pick a shade that complements your skin tone. If you have fair skin, look for orange-based tones. If you have medium or dark skin, go for shades with blue undertones. When in doubt, just try it out! Apply your bold lippie with a lip brush, covering the liner completely. Keep applying layers until you get the shade you crave.

    Finishing touches

To get rid of any imperfections after applying the lipstick, just dip the end of a Q-tip in some makeup remover and use it as an eraser. Some 'sticks can stain, so make sure you move quickly.

    Glossy girl

If you want to make your lips look even fuller, apply some sheer gloss to get a more dramatic affect. Squeeze some onto your finger and dab it on your pout, but be careful not to smudge!
