Spring nail trend alert: Presh pastels

Smoothie shades are seriously stylish this spring—and one of our favorite ways to rock the trend is with an edgy pastel mani. We hit up nail art expert Hannah from Pixie Polish to put together this seafoam green manicure with an ombre fade. Other sweet spring colors to try? Peach, lilac, buttercream and mango are all perf for trendy tips.

Products used:
NYColor Polish - Quick Dry Base/Top Coat
NYColor Polish - French White Tip
Cosmetic Arts Polish - Enchanted Forest

Tools used:
Eyeshadow Applicator

Instructions:
1. Apply a base coat.
2. Apply one coat of white polish.
3. Apply one coat of pastel green polish to 3/4 of nail.
4. Apply white polish with sponge starting at base of the nail, working your way down.
5. Apply pastel green polish with sponge starting from tip of nail and working your way up.

6. Apply white polish once more with sponge from base of nail, to complete the blend of colors.
7. Use an angled q-tip and polish remover to clean up around the edges.
8. Apply top coat, and you're done!

Hannah’s Expert Tips:
-Make sure the most solid colors are at the base and tip. You want them to meet in the middle and combine so they will blend nicely.
-Always use a base and top coat to protect your nails and your manicure.

-If you don't have an eyeshadow applicator, you can use part of a makeup sponge and tweezers for the same effect.
