Touchdown-worthy beauty for Super Bowl Sunday

Gearing up for Superbowl Sunday? If you’re not quite set on painting your face in team colors, we’ve got beauty tips straight from the pros to looking gorge without going overboard. Promise, it’s not as tricky as winning a game in overtime.

Kick off the game with some glow

“You don’t want to doll yourself up in products and colors you wouldn’t normally wear. You have to be true to you…just magnified,” says celebrity makeup artist Kristopher Buckle.

Brush on some blush, (we like CoverGirl Cheekers Blush) on your cheeks for a hint of rosiness. For an illuminated glow, dab on a light shimmer powder on the high parts of your face (cheekbones, tip of your nose and chin, and on your browbone).

Bring out your eyes

Keeping it kind of simple is the way to go while you cheer for the game. You don’t need anything but mascara for gameday, says Buckle. “Also remember a sheer, fresh colored lip color,” he adds.

>>Show your team spirit: Choose liner and shadow in blue (works for both teams!). Wanna show Giants pride? Add a deep red lip.

Spin-off runway hair for gameday style

During London Fashion Week, Pantene Global Ambassador Sam McKnight worked his charm to create a modern ponytail with soft curls for one of the models. You can get that look with a few cinchy steps.

Create curls

Use a medium barrel curling iron to curl the bottom half of your hair and clip those locks in place to make the curls stay. Heated rollers also work to get this look. Unclip curled hair and run a brush through your tresses. Using a comb, make a side part starting from the spot that’s closest to the arch of your eyebrow to the crown of your head. Bring your tresses over the ear on the side opposite to the part and secure ‘em with elastic to get a low ponytail on the side.

>>Show your team spirit: Tie a blue or red ribbon around your pony, and you’re set! Go team!
