5 cute ways to wear your hair this winter

The holiday season brings all kinds of events for you to attend, babes. Winter dances at your school, family gatherings that Mom wants you to look completely adorbs for, or just mall days with your best girls. We’ve compiled our top five fave hairstyles for you to rock into the new year.

Blake’s braid

To get Blake’s style: Spritz hair all over with texturizing spray to give it some hold. Gather hair to one side and craft a quick fishtail braid (it doesn’t have to be perfect!). Use your fingers to loosen the braid a bit, then mist with hairspray to keep flyaways at bay. Add a sparkly clip at the top!

Sel’s sultry curls

To get Selena’s style: Work a volumizing mousse into dry hair, then wrap 2-inch sections of hair around a 2-inch barrel curling iron and repeat all over. Lightly comb through hair with fingers and loosely shake out curls. Rub a bit of pomade on a few pieces to give added definition, finish with a shine spray to make it glossy. Gorgeous!

Ashley’s sleek ‘n’ straight tresses

To get Ashley’s style: Coat wet hair with a thermal protectant, then blow dry using a paddle brush to smooth out strands. Use a salon clip to pin up the top layer of your hair, then run a ceramic straightener over the bottom half. Let the top half down and repeat. Finish with a quick application of hair oil to keep things sleek.

Keke’s cool waves

To get Keke’s style: Smooth styling cream over tresses, then curl 2-inch sections with a 1-inch barrel iron, leaving a few pieces straight to add texture. Lightly shake out spirals and finger brush to create soft waves. Add a side part!

Nina’s perky pony

To get Nina’s style: Brush dry hair into a high pony, leaving the front sections free. Make a middle part with the front pieces, and pin length behind ears, gathering longer pieces into your high pony. Spray with a light mist of shine-enhancer.
