My crush and I liked each other for a while, but then he started going out with a popular girl. Now he thinks that he's all cool and stuff! And he doesn't even act like himself anymore. He only acts like himself around me. And since it's summer, I don't even know if he's still going out with the girl! It's been about 4 months. I still like him...but only when he acts
like himself. Help me!

Unfortunately, status is important to a lot of people. Wanting to feel important and be the best you can be is one thing -- but some people worry too much about what other people think of them and do lose themselves trying to fit in.
I know you might still have a crush on him, but if he acts one way around you and another way around everyone else, it might be a red flag that he's a little shallower or perhaps more insecure than you thought. You want a guy who is secure and confident enough to be himself around everyone; otherwise you might find that he ends up being flaky and undependable.
You say it's been four months since you've last seen him, and a lot can happen in that amount of time, so wait until you see him again to make any decisions. If he's still acting like a different person depending on who he's around, it's probably a good idea to give in to the fact that he's just not the person you originally liked (you have to accept ALL facets of a person, not just who they are at particular times, you know?) and move on so you can find someone you like in every way. There's no picking and choosing when it comes to liking someone.
