Fun 'n' healthy Halloween treats

As soon as October hits, Halloween candy is suddenly everywhere. And while we love mini Kit-Kats as much as the next girl, it can be fun to switch up the seasonal snacks with something a little better for you. Presenting some sweet alternatives to the candy bowl with plenty of seasonal spirit, perfect for your next spooky party, sleepover or babysitting gig (trust us, the kids will love this wacky take on apples).
Which will you make in time for Halloween? Let us know!

    Pepper Jack-o'-lanterns

These peppers actually made us LOL. Make up some spaghetti, add sauce and then scoop it into a carved pepper for a goofy dinnertime joke. They're totally edible and a perfect entree for a Halloween feast.

    Monster Mouths

Watch out for these delicous guys. Cut a wedge out of fourth of an apple and stick almond slivers to make it look like teeth. Hint: putting a little lemon juice on the apple will prevent it from browning. But maybe you prefer your monsters a little on the aged side?

    Candy corn posicles

Candy corn can be addicting, but leave you with a major sugar high followed by a hard crash. Instead, get your fruit fix with a popsicle made with vanilla yogurt, orange juice, and pineapple juice. So good...and 'gram worthy.
