Frame your memories with fall colors

There's nothing sweeter then a stellar day with your fave people. The second best thing? A framed memory of the event - especially is the frame is a homemade one. Here's a craft for a colorful frame that'll be just as fabulous as the picture it holds.

What you’ll need

Plain picture frame

Leaves

ModPodge

Paint brush or foam brush

Heavy books

Newspaper

What you’ll do

Head outside and collect a pile of pretty fall leaves, the more vibrant, the better. Put them between the pages of a few heavy, thick books to get them flat. This may take a day or two.

When the leaves are flat, spread newspaper over your workspace and get down to the crafting. Cover the frame with a layer of ModPodge (note: working in sections might be easier). Press the leaves into place, holding them still until they stay. When your entire frame is covered, paint on another layer of ModPodge to seal the leaves. Let dry completely.
