Clever ways to celebrate Father's Day

Father's Day is coming up, and I can guarantee that your Dad doesn't want another new tie. Why not shake things up with a more creative way to celebrate? These Dad Day activities are totally Pops-approved and are sure to result in some super special memories.

Plan a day of sightseeing

Whether your casa is near huge monuments or tiny farms, take some time to explore parts of your hometown you’ve never checked out before. Want to up the creative factor even more? Plan a silly scavenger hunt (think: seek the worst cup of coffee) for all-day laughs.

Take a family cooking class

No matter who the top chef in your fam is, this is a great opportunity to bond with the whole gang. Plus, who doesn't love a fancy meal?

Go mini-golfing

Dad will love this sporty-fun activity (and the opportunity to unleash his inner kid). Since golf isn’t a super fast-paced game, this allows lots of time for talking and laughing, too.

Enjoy the great outdoors

Spend some time hiking a nature trail, taking a stroll at your local botanical gardens or just walking through your neighborhood. Spending some time with Mother Nature will give Dad a chance to unwind while still staying active.

Have a movie-marathon

After a fun-filled day, take some time to chill out and watch some dad-approved flicks as a family. It's the perfect end to a perfect day.

What are you doing for Dad this Father’s Day? Will you try any of these activities? Let us know in the comments!
