Spill! Tell us your stories about a blessing in disguise--and you could be in the mag!
Remember how totally awkward it was being 5' 9" in 8th grade,
but by the time you got to 10th, your height landed you a spot on
varsity volleyball? Or how much you dreaded leaving all your friends and
going to a new school only to realize how much fun you had getting to
know all your new classmates? Sure, from the start things didn't look so
great, but by the time it was over, you realized you psyched yourself
out for no reason. Tell us your stories about a blessing in disguise for
a chance to be featured in our upcoming D/J issue. We want to hear all
about how your cons turned out to be totally pros.
Have a lesson you learned the hard way, like the time you realized it wasn't worth ditching a longtime for friend for new ones? Or, not appreciating Mom for all that she does until she went on strike for 2 weeks? We want to hear those, too.
Email your stories to qotw@girlslife.com with the subject line "Blessing in Disguise." Don't forget to include your first name, initial and age!
