"A Winter of Snow" - An original poem

Celebrate the coming of fall--one more day!--with a poem that looks ahead toward the blustery, cold months of winter. We're loving this short poem by GL reader Roo. Take a peek, then tell us what you think about it in the comments--and if you're looking forward to fall.

"A Winter of Snow"

For what is outside
In the cold of night,
When everyone is safe and sound
Do bats and owls fly away, and do wolves wander the grounds
When a winter of snow is coming,
We must be prepared
When the winds of September gust and bust, the roof will need repairs.
