My friend and I like the same guy, and I made out with him at a party. My friend found out and said she wanted to punch my face in. Now she says it’s OK, but she doesn’t call me like she used to and, when I call her, she says she’s busy. What should I do? I’ve apologized, but I can’t take back what I did.

In fact, it’s possible she might have done the same thing if given the opportunity. E-mail or leave her a message that says, “My New Year’s wish is to have our friendship back the way it was,” or, “Let’s not lose our friendship over a guy.” Maybe she just needs time for her wounded pride to heal. Ask her if she had the same chance as you would she have made a different decision and maybe that will make her relize that sometimes you dont think before you do stuff. Ask her if she would have wanted you to forgive her. Let her know that your truley sorry if you knew it would have messed up your freindship then you wouldnt have done the same.! Give her some time to think..

Hey girlie, I can't think of a time that I've had that be a problem. I think generally you can just continue normal conversation. Or you can just smile. Silence isn't always a bad thing. It gives you both a chance to reflect on the kiss.
