Why you should work out outside while you can

We know, we know, your chilled-to-the-bone fingers are protesting. But it’s time to grab some gloves, girlie, and hit up the great outdoors before it gets too cold and icy to do so.


Why? Because a recent study conducted by researchers in England showed that when people exercise will looking at video clips of green-all-over Mama Nature, they get a serious mood boost. Study subjects reported having more energy while they were working out, too—talk about an all-natural boost!


Stuck inside? Try to perk up your surroundings by turning your at-home workout area into a jungle of potted plants, or switching your treadmill TV to the Discovery Channel.
