Hall of fame fall workout jam sesh

A good playlist can make or break your workout. I mean, imagine that you are on the homestretch of a really long run and you’re feeling super tired; a slow song will just make you want to stop, but that awesome pump up song will make you push it until the end.  Especially during these chilly months, we need all the motivation we can to get our workout in. A good song helps you set the pace, so here are a few upbeat and inspirational tunes that you’ll love to listen to during your cardio sweat sesh.

“Stronger (what doesn’t kill you)” by Kelly Clarkson

“One Step at a Time” by Jordin Sparks

“Fighter” by Christina Aguilera

“The Edge of Glory” by Lady Gaga

“Loser Like Me” by the cast of Glee

“Dog Days are Over” by Florence and the Machine

“Want You Back” by Cher Lloyd

“Let’s Go” by Calvin Harris

“Hall of Fame” by The Script featuring Will.i.am.

For a post-workout snack, try a slice of whole wheat toast with peanut butter. The protein in the PB will help repair the muscles you used while burning calories.
