Factor these new graphic sweaters into your outfit equations

Check these out, too...

  • 6 handbags every girl should own
  • Exactly what to wear to your summer job interview
  • Ed. Obsession: INTERN TAKEOVER: Muscle Tees Under $20
We heart this round-up of graphic sweaters: They add a quirky touch to any look, and there are tons of different options, so you can find one no matter what style you’re into.  Plus, they’re super versatile--you can wear them everywhere from school to a party with your friends.

Must love mustaches

Dontcha just love the mustache craze? It’s such a cute way to mix a little fun into any situation, and can totally lighten up an outfit.  Pair tough accessories and bright skinny jeans for a look that’s a little bit rocker and a little bit geek, but all adorable!

Johnny Mustache Pull Over Sweater, $34, monikapolitan.com

Solid Colored Skinny Jeans, $37, gojane.com

Qupid Priority 46 Velvet Studded Spike Bootie, $36, urbanog.com

Mudd Silver Tone Hammered Zigzag Cuff Bracelet, $10, kohls.com

Walk on the wild side

Feeling in touch with nature?  This animal sweater is anything but cutesy; embrace your inner cowgirl on this one.  Jeans and cowboys boots are a classic combo, but switch things up by wearing boots in a color other than the usual brown.  A pretty, antique looking ring gives your whole outfit a worn-in look that works in the classroom or on the range.

ASOS Mono Tiger Sweater, $42, asos.com

Levi’s Juniors Jeans, 524 Skinny Dark Wash, $46, macys.com

Volatile Denver Western Boot, $70, dsw.com

Marbled Oval Ring, $28, topshop.com

Bowed over

Graphic sweaters don’t have to be crazy out-there, prints. Sometimes, a little splash of color gives your outfit just enough oomph to make it pop! Pink and black is such a cute Parisian-inspired combo, so keep the rest of the outfit simple and chic.  A peplum and a bright belt make this a perfect outfit for a nice dinner with the fam or a special night out with your girls.

Sweater Project Juniors Sweater, Long Sleeve Striped Bow Print, $36, macys.com

Black Ribbed Peplum Mini Skirt, $45, topshop.com

Another Line “Update” Skinny Patent Belt, $28, nordstrom.com

Gap Suede Loafers, $40, gap.com

Put a bird on it

Whether or not your school has a dress code, you’ll get noticed in this classic look.  The cute lovebirds on this sweater are sweet and fun--the perfect way to fab up a collared shirt and khakis.  A twist on basic oxfords and adorable bird earrings are simple but sweet.  This outfit proves personal style can’t be kept down by a dress code!

Sweater, $25, hm.com

Destructed Broken-in Straight Khakis, $50, gap.com

AE Chambray Western Shirt, $40, ae.com

Not Rated Hot Stepper Oxford Flat, $40, dsw.com

Crystal Belly Owl Stud Earrings, $8, claires.com

MOD MOD MOD I got in fight with my friends but today I appolgized all of my friends forgave me except for one. She didn't really say that she didn't forgive me but I could tell because I know her so well. She would'nt talk to me or even look at me. But really want to be her friend again because she is one of my best friends.

Hey girly, I'm glad you apologized and were able to patch things up with most of your buds. Some people might just need a little more time to get over things than others. Give her time and continue being friendly towards her; say hello when you see her, ask her about her day, etc. After she's had a couple of days to think about it, have a talk with her and ask her if everything is okay between the two of you. Ask if there is anything you can do to bring things back to normal. Talk to her calmly and hear her out. Hope things work out. xoxo

MOD MOD MOD
I have two problems.
1) I am always so stressed, and I don't know why. I always feel like I have chore or schoolwork assignment to do, or something or someone is aggravating me. Do you have any suggestions?
2) I am homeschooled, and sometimes I will get on the computer or TV before my school, or do something else and get distracted, then feel too tired to do my school. Can you think of anything that might help me not get distracted?
Thanks for all your help!

Hey girly, first, get organized. Keep a homework book with you all the time so you can jot down your chores, homework, apointments, etc. Cross off each one as you finish it. This will keep you from worrying that you forgot something and you'll feel accomplished every time you cross something off.  Next, do some stress-busters to keep your nerves under control. Do something that will calm you down and cheer you up. You could go for a walk, dance to your fave tune, take a bubble bath, watch a funny video, etc. This is a great article with lots of ideas: http://www.girlslife.com/post/2012/09/13/20-ways-to-peace-out-when-schools-got-ya-down.aspx I hope this helps!

As for problem number two, try getting your schoolwork done first or use the computer or TV as a reward. One hour of schoolwork = one tv show or 30 mins on the computer and then it's back to work again. Good luck, babe!
