I’m a really outgoing girl, but my BF is pretty dorky. My friends don’t like him and won’t let him sit with us at lunch. But I like him! He’s a great guy. What should I do?

BILL: I think it’s cool that you call your BF “dorky,” yet you still really like him. The world needs more outgoing girls who like dorky guys. One person’s dork is another’s creative genius. Tell your friends that your dorky BF is part of the package. Sounds like, with your personality, it won’t be hard to find new pals.

DAVE: It’s great that you’re an advocate of dorkiness. If it weren’t for girls like you, Bill wouldn’t have any dates. Keep your dorky BF if you enjoy his company. Let your friends know you’ll be sitting with him at lunch and that, if they don’t like him around, you won’t be hanging with them. It’s their problem, not yours.

I really like funky clothes and combinations , like skirts with converse shoes. Every girl gets abercrombie and American Eagel , but I wnat toi be unique. What shoes would I wear with leg warmers and what are some funky hair styles (I have blondish-brownish hair little bit below shoulder length)? Also do have any ideas on some cheap , unique t-shirts or outift ideas?

Hey babes, leg warmers should be worn with ANY flat shoes. As for hair, I think you should do something drastic and cut it short, there are SO many cute styles out there right now. For cheap unique t shirts, why dont you make some for yourself? My BFF does it all the time. xo JANA

I kind of like this guy and we've been friends since last year, and i think he might like me, but I'm not sure, I mean he told me he liked this other girl, but she only likes him as a friend, today is the homecoming dance and he is going with is ex, but only as friends. Ok, so this is really bugging me. There's this boy that I go to school with, and we've become pretty good friends recently.(I'll call him "Cory".) He's slightly nerdy, and we have a lot in common. I really like him, and he acts like he likes me too. But he met my bff "Casey" a few days ago and turns out that they used to be best friends when they were younger. So they started talking and texting a lot. That didn't bother me until one of my guy friends told me that Cory told him he liked Casey. So right now I'm really angry/sad because I really really really like Cory and he possibly likes my bff (pretty much every boy in school likes her). So I really don't know what to do. What the heck is this all about and should I just wait it out or what?

I think 8th grade is a really long ways away. If you two like (or maybe love) each other, then I think it's fine if you go out. You don't need to be planning for dating in high school. You can worry about the whole high school thing in two years. -lauren

alright. So there's this guy i've liked since fifth grade. I liked him straight out, all the time, in fifth grade. We actually went out during that time...he was in sixth grade, so you know he was a year older. We were together basically a year. Then sixth grade came around, and he would be off to high school and i wouldn't. We broke up...we liked each other off and on during sixth grade. I'm in high school now so we see each other. Word is he likes me again, and I like him. Whenever I talk to him (which is very rare) he laughs at every word i say. At the dance last night, I was the only girl he slow danced with. (Besides this ninth grade girl who asked him, and she told me she basically had to drag him out there. Me and her are pretty good friends)And it was the very last dance...he came up to me smiled and was just like c'mon let's go. When we were dancing he couldn't stop smilling! We looked at ecah other and would look away and smile...it was like a stupid kindergarten crush thing going on. And he didn't let go of me til the music wasn't even on. Most people stop when they know the song is going to end but he didn't...its like we were the last ones dancing. But he told his friends he's not asking me out cuz he wants to wait til he's older so we can go to movies and stuff. I totally respect that. Do you think he likes me? what should i do?

Ok, so my BFF's little (not that little though he's in 7th grade- I'm in 8th) brother likes me. A LOT. And he tells me all the time that he does. We're friends and stuff and he's really cool(he's the only person I can argue about football with cuz my friends dont watch it)but its just weird because I dont like him like that. I just want it to be like it was before he started liking me. How do I get that without him getting mad at me (or his sis/my BFF)?

last night my frind begged me 2 come ice-skating w/ her and her bf, who she said was bringing a guy for me. well i didnt like the guy AT ALL, but i didnt want to bug my friend to leave, so i stayed with him and was polite but sorta aloof. but my friends bf was very nice and tried 2 make sure me and his friend werent alone. well then my friend flipped out at me cuz se was supposed 2 make out w her bf 4 the 1st time last night, but it wasnt my fault!! i didnt know the guy who was "soooooo hawt" would be so annoying!! i missed american eagle's birthday to meet that guy!!! yeah!! yesterday was american eagle's bday, and they e-mailed me a cupon 4 15% off, valid for yesterday ONLY!!! now my friend is mad at me and i feel so embarrassed. what can i do???
