Cookie Pizza

A yummy twist on an Italian favorite. Cookie pizza can be served as dessert or at brunch. Mix up a fruit version for a fancy finger food fiesta or dream up candy combos to satisfy your sweet tooth. The recipe can be modified to fit whatever mood you’re in.

Ingredients:

One roll sugar cookie dough
One pint strawberries
 One pint blueberries
 2 kiwis, peels and sliced
One small can mandarin oranges (drained)
One packet vanilla pudding mix
One container cool whip (softened)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a circular baking pan, press dough firmly into it to form the crust. Bake until golden brown (15 mins or so). Allow cookie to cool completely. In time, empty the entire container of cool whip and one packet of pudding mix into a mixing bowl. Mix completely. Make sure the cool whip is room temperature; if it’s too frozen the consistency of the mix will be wrong. Spread the mix on top of the cookie so that it is entirely covered. Layer sliced fruit on top. Allow to set in the refrigerator for two hours.

Ewww...all this fruit on a cookie? Doesn't sound very good. No offense but this recipe isn't for me.

That looks so good. We made something like that in foods class but we used a puff pastry instead of a cookie. It makes it a bit easier to eat and it adds a bit of a different texture and flavor.

YUMMMMMM! I made something like this once, but it had cream cheese, and powdered sugar, and vanilla as the frosting. Everyone was very impressed, I love attention!

Yeah... I don't like eating cookies or creamy, dairy things. But I guess other than that it looks like a good recipe...!

Hmmmmm...I like the fruit part, but I don't think I want that good fruit to be on a cookie. I rather just eat it without the cookie.

Do you know where you can buy just a few mandarin oranges? My local grocery store only sells them in big crates.
Thanks!
