Candy Popcorn Balls

Nobody likes getting their hands dirty, but you’re gonna have to sink your digits into some sugary syrup to make these candy popcorn balls. Customize them with whatever tiny candy you like, add ribbons to the packaging for a unique flair. A sweetly simple snack with tons of possibilities.

Ingredients:

6 cups popped popcorn
1 handful of mini marshmallows
4 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 tablespoon of butter
1 and a half teaspoon of water
Mini M&Ms, red hots, any small candy

Directions: In a medium saucepan bring corn syrup, water, butter to a boil. Add in the handful of marshmallows and remove from heat. Stir until the marshmallows are fully melted. Pour the syrup over the popcorn ( in a larger bowl) and toss until evenly coated. You may let it cool until it is easy to handle but make sure the syrup is still sticky. Rub some butter on your hands, then scoop up a big handful of popcorn and form into a ball. Stick your candy of choice into the ball, and wrap each one in saran wrap. Allow to sit for a few hours.
