OH MY BFF READ JACOB HAVE I LOVED!!!

~iheartcharlie~ on 9/28/2008 12:09:11 PM

I love Little Women it's my favorite classic i've read it about 20 times lol i've also read Caddie Woodlawn but I think it was too easy to read and not very exiting.

sparky4me on 9/28/2008 1:06:35 PM

Yeah, I've read (or, in the case of Caddie Woodlawn, attempted to read) so many of these books...I'm surprised there aren't any Jane Austen books on the list--I haven't read them yet, but I read a biography on her for my English project, and now I want all her books for Christmas!!!

twilightprincess_fabulous12474 on 9/28/2008 1:24:56 PM

im reading little women right now and doing as project on louisa may alcott. its kind of borring.

PSHHitzB4RBI3 on 9/28/2008 1:42:46 PM

I. LOVE. LITTLE. WOMEN!! i havent read the full edition, but gotthe shortend copy for when i was in like 4th grade or something. but i still loved it!

_savvygirl_15 on 9/28/2008 2:05:41 PM

I've read Little Women, Are you there God? It's me Margaret, and Jacob Have I loved. I wouldn't say that they're exactly 'teen books.'

ShopperSoccerGurl on 9/28/2008 2:05:46 PM

There are way better books out there than these books! I thought I should comment on these books because no one has really placed any comments here.

pandaluver on 9/28/2008 2:24:47 PM

Barely anyone has commented on these books. There are wayyyyyyyyy better books out there!

pandaluver on 9/28/2008 2:29:27 PM

me too.

hellome1 on 9/28/2008 2:43:37 PM

i can't wait 2 read these books!!!!!!!!!!

volleyballhannah on 9/28/2008 2:55:59 PM

I was hoping to discover some new books....these aren't really books I would read anymore.

kaattiiee on 9/28/2008 4:57:19 PM

i've read read harriet the spy that's a good book

BasketballGirl on 9/28/2008 5:26:04 PM

sugaraddict1, I agree. I read Caddie Woodlawn in fifth grade! All of these books seem very third grade. These aren't classics! Where is Jane Austen or the Bronte Sisters? I want to read something challenging. Little Women is a good choice. It is the only classic on here and the only one I am excited to read.

twilight obsessed on 9/28/2008 7:36:01 PM

i'm reading Eclipse (from the Twilight series) right now, but after I finish that, and Breaking Dawn, I'll check out these books!

kat107 on 9/28/2008 7:53:24 PM

none of them seem interesting except for Harriet the Spy, which i have already read

rahab on 9/28/2008 8:04:19 PM

i have read Are u ther god? its me maraget like, in 5th grade. Im in 8th grade now,and these books r too young!! i reccomend The Truth About Forever, by Sarah Dessen and Just Listen by Sarah Dessen. Truly amazing books. i loved them. i liek some romance books, and a lot of realistic fiction. i highly reccomend Twilight too. =D

lisaxoxola13 on 9/28/2008 8:21:22 PM

I think I read Jacob Have I loved in 5th grade (in 9th right now) Now i have to look it up to see what it was about...I barely remember it

i have a crush on my bgf but he has a crush on a girl in my class (let's call her ana). and i am really sad. do you think he likes me and is just trying to make me jealous. or does he really like her. they are going to go out but first she has to break up with her boyfriend. this sucks. please help! thanks!

Hey babes, he has no reason to make you jealous, you only try to do that when you have dated someone and break up and that person starts dating someone else ( very immature behavior).  I am sorry you are in this situation but I would let it run its course. If you still like him in a few months, then fess up. xo JANA

sugaraddict1 on 9/28/2008 10:43:12 PM

jeez way to pick out books gl! come on most of us are in middle school!

sugaraddict1 on 9/28/2008 10:44:02 PM

I love Caddie Woodlawn, but I read that in 4th grade. Tong

I'm still going to read them, I'm not picky on age level - if I want to read it, I will. - but shouldn't we have some more challenging books?

Whatever. If they're good, I'm still reading!

VanillaLipgloss on 9/29/2008 11:04:23 AM

~ kat107 ~

I love the Twilight series, but hated Breaking Dawn. A lot.
I'm not going to spoil though.

VanillaLipgloss on 9/29/2008 11:06:23 AM

MOD~
I think you guys should start a blog where girls can recomend good "age apropriate" books for the other girls. I would love to do that!

Thanks for the suggestion! We will keep it in mind, but for now, enjoy these good 'ole classics! --Cheers, Amy

Tennisgirl93 on 9/29/2008 11:16:04 AM

Vanillalipgloss~
Finally someone who agrees with me!!!I love Twilight too!!!But I despised Breaking dawn!!!It was terrible and by far the worst book of the series. I was extreamely dissapointed.

crookshanks121 on 9/29/2008 3:29:15 PM

i love are you there god?its me margaret. its so good. i read it when i was 11(now13) so i recomend it for girls who are 11, just got or haven't gotten thier periods, and anybody who has moved to a new place Smile

KSG2013 on 9/29/2008 4:51:07 PM

How come there's no fantasy books? I'm reading the Warriors series by Erin Hunter? I love those books! Erin Hunter also has another book series out called Seekers.
These books are by one of my fave authors, Cornelia Funke: Dragon Rider, Inkheart, The Thief Lord. (These I have read and love!)
C.S. Lewis: The Chronicles of Narnia books.
Varjak Paw by S.F. Said was awesome!
There's just some suggestions.

emerald gem on 9/29/2008 5:45:59 PM

Fantasy Books isn't the theme.
Didn't you read the posting?
I agree with the first comment.
These books are wayy under level!
Come on GL! I know you can do better.

pixelpurple1 on 9/29/2008 5:51:30 PM

Oh, and KSG2013 just because you haven't gotten your period doesn't mean your on an 11 yr old reading level.

pixelpurple1 on 9/29/2008 5:52:46 PM

I love Little Women, its a great book for all ages.
I read the full version in 3rd grade but I still love it.
My favorite chapter is "under the umbrella" Smile
Prof. Bhaer = awesome.

Nessie Black on 9/29/2008 6:05:13 PM

pinkiepoodle123 on 10/4/2008 8:32:50 PM

ive never read any of them.....

TWILIGHT RULES!
twilight was best, then eclipse, then new moon, then breaking dawn. breaking dawn was really good, but i didnt feel as...connected with the characters as i did in the other three.
but like i said, it was still really good!

purplecrazed on 10/4/2008 11:04:28 PM

purplecrazed-

dramachick194 on 10/5/2008 1:46:30 PM

i know who ever did should get sued!!!! i hope she changes her mine on midnight sun

ray ray on 10/6/2008 6:15:54 PM

okay..
if you're looking for a great book.. read books by Jodi Picoult. she is gifted with words! .. but some of you might find her too challenenging and advanced for you..
my favorite book i have ever read was "My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult. it's a story of a girl who's only reason for being on this world was to be a perfect genetic match for her sister who is going through with leukemia. [in other words.. she was created in a lab by doctors..genetically] she has undergo several surgeries to be able to save her sister. she gets so sick &* tired of not having "her own body" and wants to sue her parents for her own body back. will she rebel? will she go through with it and just keep on providing for her sister? what will happen.. ?
find out in My Sister's Keeper. =]

i highly recommend this book to anyone. :]

p.s. if you read this book you will want to cry &* get angry.. so beware! (;

xoxoxo <3
