5 More Super Sleepover Ideas

Girls’ Life took 5 oh-so-fantastic teen movies, and made an entire evening of fun and food out of ’em. Go ahead, call your friends and make some plans!

1) Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
- Everyone has to wear their very favorite pair of pants.
- Get a huge piece of paper. Cut out a pair of pants and have everyone write notes and sign it.
- Make some trailmix, friend-style: Combine everyone’s favorite munchy and mix it in a big bowl. Kinda weird, but sooo good.

2) Pretty in Pink
- Everyone must wear pink. Of course!
- Make your own bag. Sure, Andie makes her own clothes. But you and your buds should get some fabric and ribbons, string and needles. Sewing a simple bag is easy as can be.
- Put your baking hat on and make pink strawberry cupcakes with pink icing. Yum.

3) Say Anything
- Total pajama night all the way.
- Pick and share one song that you wish Lloyd (or the boy of your dreams) would play outside your window, and then make a mixed CD. Everyone gets a copy of at the end of the night.
- Make some brownies, a sleepover classic.

4) Grease
- Can you rock that back-in-the-day hair? Think Sandra Dee’s high pony with ribbons.
- Bring some spa materials and have girly makeover time. Curlers in the hair, manis and pedis. The works!
- Root Beer floats feel totally ’50s.

5) 13 going on 30
- Come dressed as your 30-year-old self.
- Make a time capsule to be opened when everyone at the sleepover turns 30. Store it someplace you’ll all be able to remember!
- Razzles, but if you can’t find ’em, any old candy will do.

Don't be nervous! just go with the flow, don't try to think about it so hard just go with what feels natural, and know that the boys are just as nervous if not more.

ok i have this really weird friend. shes the nicest girl i know (not saying my other friends arent nice). shes really unpopular and kinda clings to ppl and doesnt have many friends.yesterday my family went super-early to the hs football game and i was bored so i texted a bunch of ppl asking them 2 come. they did. mind u, i have alot of really "popular" friends who r also super nice, who hang out with boys and wear cool clothes. (THAT IS NOT THE ONLY REASON I LIKE them, tho, i just want to make that clear.) well my friend (lets call her A) was totally freaking them out cuz shes so hyper. this is the conversation:
Friend #1: oh...hi
A: duh, you remember me!!
Friends #2: h-h-hey...um...
(similar responses from Friends # 3,4,5,6, and the boys we were with)
sensing my dstress, friend #1 said, "um, A, could you step away for a second? i need to tell mary something." A: oh come awn, is it about a boy you like??? (Friend #1 getting annoyed) uh its a family thing." A: ohhh ok. so she goes like five feet away from us and my friends are trying to ditch her cuz they think shes weird and think i do too.all night stuff like that went on-- i had to pretend to lose her or say come on! there's major flirting going on! and know full well she wouldnt want to come, she wanted me to hang out with her and her TEACHER!!!!!! and i had to pretend i didnt like her. i feel bad because shes really nice, but she was totally dorky last night. i love hanging out with her, but i never tell anyone, because shes kind of a loser and weird. idk what to do!!!!! do i have 2 choos??? ps i tried merging my 2 groups...it didnt happen.
please help!!! sorry this is so long!!

Hey girl!

Since you do not want to lose both group of friends, I think you can balance your time out like one week do something with that group and the other week do something with your "weird" friend. Or maybe just talk to your "weird" friend cuz maybe she is acting this way for a reason.

Just be honest with them and tell them to stop bossing me around, this is not how you treat your close friend. Just communicate your feelings.

I think I'm going to do the ideas for Grease. It sounds awesome. I've actually never seen that movie, but I LOVE Hairspray, and really any musical I've seen. My parents hate sleepovers because "they don't get any sleep either". But if they let me have them often, we might not stay up that late anyway just because we'd be too tired. Maybe I can convince them...

MOD MOD MOD i have a problem.
well recently in the last year or so i have been really interested in acting/drama/theatre. ive done a couple minor minor things in elementary/middle school and im in drama this year as a freshman in highschool. well my parents arent supportive of me at all. they always make excuses : "you dont have enough experience" "lessons are too expensive" "we just dont have the time" both of my parents work and i hardly ask for much- this is my dream and they dont believe i can even make it. i hear them talking all the time when they think im not listening but they talk about how theatre and acting isnt realistic. i mean i love acting and i would even do it as a side job- but its hard to get into acting the older u get and im already 15 and they just wont let me! they keep making up excuses and its not fair bc i want this so much and they just wont support me and im almost thinking of giving up my dream ..this is the only thing i want soo bad im willing to work hard but they dont care they wont support my dream im so mad!!HELP ):

Hey girl!

You need to sit down with your parents and show them your research about acting, like schools, jobs, cost of lessons etc. You just need to express to them maturely that this is what you want to do. If this doesn't work maybe talk to your drama teacher to talk to your parents or something.

ive tried the maturity thing. i look up acting places close by but the closest place is 2o minutes away; and since they both work they claim we dont have enough time; but idk ill keep trying but i think maybe i should give it up :\

Don't give up if you love it so much. Maybe if you have a friend who is into acting too you guys can do a carpool to the acting place.
