Feng Shui––what the hey? Definition, please! OK, Feng Shui is the Chinese art of arranging your surroundings so you feel filled with great energy. So why not rearrange your room today, and max out its good vibes? Start by de-cluttering: go through every object ya see, plus everything you've stuffed under your bed, at the back of your shelves, all over the darn place. (In Feng Shui, clutter can really zap your energy level.) Chuck (or pop in a box for donation to charity) everything you don't use, need or dig. Next, shift your sleepin' spot: In Feng Shui philosophy, putting your bed too close to the door may actually bring too much hectic energy into your room (and you want some nice, calm karma), so move it as far away as you can. Arrange your desk in the corner of the room that faces the door (Feng Shui theory suggests it's good to be able to see what's comin' atcha). Shift your dresser and chairs so that they aren't blocking the cool energy flow that's coming in from the door. sounds fun, but i am not really into it! not saying that zaedi is lieing, but its not really my thing----plus i have bigger pieces of furni in my room-hard to move! anyone who does this, have fun!

well my room is all messed up. the bed's near the door and the desk faces the corner and i can't move anything cuz it only fits like one way. so drat!

MOD MOD MOD- i have a big purple bump on my eyelid. ive had it for over 4 days and it kinda hurts. i have no idea how i got it and its pretty visible. is there anything i can do?
Hey girly! It might be a sty, which is fluid or build up under the eye. A doctor will give you some drops for it, but it's not serious. --Sammi

My room is actually pretty close to the description. It doesn't nessissarily keep my life un hectic but I 'm very calm and relaxed in my room.

ooh, my room is all wrong. the desk faces the wall, the bed is only seperated from the door by the bookcase (apparently neither of them should be there) and there is clutter EVERYWHERE!

MOD i read this book called breaking dawn twice. the first time i hated it, the 2nd time i wasn't sure. i really WANT to like it, since i was a fan of the series and i feel like i'm the only one in the world who doesn't like it, but i don't even know what to think of the series anymore. what do i do?

MOD i need/want a new wallet, cuz my current one is made of duct tape and kinda yuck since i've had it since 4th grade. where can i find one? i looked in stores like Claire's and H&M, but they only had leather-y wallets, and i'd prefer a wallet that isn't faux or real leather. where do i find one?

MOD MOD MOD- thx 4 the advice about my eyelid!! i have a few more questions though. im new to the giveaway of the day and i have a few questions. first, can u enter unlimited times a day? second, when will august giveaway winners be posted and is it week by week or at the end of the month? last, i noticed in past giveaway postings that you put the persons first name and the state they live in. when i ented i just signed in with my username and password so if i win will my username show up or did i enter wrong? and if we win are we supposed to give our address so u can mail the prize to us? OK people. if your desk faces the wall and it can't go anywhere else, just put a mirrir on the desk facing the door. oh it stinks cause i have a queen bed but i was supossed to have a full bed. lets make a long story short. it's my ads fault. and i have 2 windows on 2 walls beside each other. so i eather block a door or block a window. god i shoulda picked my bros room insted. dang...

omg i cant believe u guys posted something about feng shui! I feng shui-ed my room about 2 years ago and my life is so much more organized and stress free. i'm telling u, it works!!! the tips on this blog are awesome, but buy a feng shui book to learn more. what helped me the most was the element map. it has to do with the elements (like earth, wind, metal) and colors.

I think this is kind of cool! My room is actually pretty close to the description it gives and it does kind of make my room kind of cozy. . Except i don't have a desk in my room right now.

*****MOD***** I really like this guy. He's sweet, funny, outgoing, and completely adorable. I've known him for about a year. We talk over IM sometimes. Except that he is super popular. And I am not. We're both in student government and sometimes I think I catch him smiling at me. I think he likes me. What should I do?????
I think just continue being yourself. Who cares about "popularity" notice I put that in quotes. Approach him.. ask what he is doing this summer! Guys are as shy if not more so than girls!

I share a room with my sister, so she would have to agree with me to change the room. And because I would change it, she WILL refuze to. Our rooms like wall 2 wall furniture so its not very feng shui. Ho Hum

lol, my room's already arranged according to Feng Shui.Every year my mom always gets some guy to come into our home and check out what should be rearranged and we should add or take away. The man would sketch out an arrangement that best suites the feng shui in every of our house. Then he'd leave the plans with my mom when he leaves. Later my parents will be in me and lil' my bro's room. By the time we go to sllep everybody will have a new room to sleep in for the year.
