Here’s a veggie alternative to the meat sub.What You’ll Need: Serves 2-3Sauce*1 tablespoon each: mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, such as “Grey Poupon”*1 (eight-inch long) baguette or a thin loaf of Italian bread, white or wheat*1 ripe avocado*1/4 lb. thinly sliced cheese; smoked mozzarella, provolone, pepper jack, or your favorite*1 cup fresh spinach leaves, washed and dried*1 small tomato, plum tomatoes work well*1 small red onionWhat You’ll Do:1. Stir the sauce together in a small bowl and set aside. Using the bread knife, slice the baguette in half lengthwise. 2. Carefully cut open the avocado, using a paring knife. Scoop out the flesh with a spoon and spread, or mash, half the avocado on the bottom piece of bread. Lay the cheese slices on top of the avocado.3. Lay the spinach leaves on top of the cheese. Using a serrated knife, slice the tomato into thin slices. Using a paring knife, slice the onion into thin circles, throwing out the ends. Lay the tomato and onion slices on the sandwich.4. Spread the sauce onto the top layer of bread and press it down onto the sandwich. Wrap in butcher paper and refrigerate or place toothpicks every two inches and slice the sub, with the bread knife, into four pieces.

Mod~ Ok so I might..be in dance, but Im not sure yet. Its gonna take soooo much work being able to do the splitz plus none of my friends will be in it cuz they'll b in varsity. what should I do?

Mod~ I'm just really stressed out, because I wanna be in a sport, but I don't know which one! What do you think would be good for a 13 yr girl about 5'1 and 78 lbs? Here are the choices volleyball tennis, dance, softball, track, cross country, basketball.

Heyy! MOD, or anyone else... I'm going on a plane very soon, so I am trying to think of things that would occupy for the airplane rides. All together I am going to be on a plane for about six hours going there and then six coming back. What should I do to keep me busy and not bored? Also what do you girls do to make your ears un-pop? naughtynautica, I'm going on a plane Tuesday and I've got some suggestions for you. After a certain height you're aloud to take out your ipod. So if you got one, why not download a few of the hottest movies? I'm going to get Step Up 1 and 2 'cause I love to dance. Plus, you can read. Good Luck! ♣

MODERATOR, I need some help plz. I'm trying to change my life style for the better and I have to say I've never eaten bad or not exercised. Basically I'm a model healthy person, always have been, but my body is made different so I have to work harder. But the one thing that really bugs me about my bod is my legs. I think my thighs need to tone up a lot, calfs too. Any suggestions of how?

*********MOD********** Hey! I've been having a healthy diet for about 1/2 a year so far, with exercise. The only prob is that my taste buds have changed so much. I feel sick when I eat tacos and cheese burgers and even some pizza because there is grease, even when I soak it up! I don't like a lot of foods anymore, and its getting hard to find stuff I like. The healthy frozen foods are getting too expensive. Do you have any advice? I don't even like salad! Also, when they say eat 5 fruits & veggies a day, do they mean combined? Cuz I eat about 3-4 servings of fruits and about 2 servings of veggies a day. Thanks! ♥
Hey Girl, there is a ton of healthy recipes out there! Try cooking chicken, fish, etc in a healthy way instead of buying premade frozen health food it will be alot cheaper, and you can look up ways to make healthy pizza, or try veggie burges as a subsitute. *Cara T*

**************MOD************* Another ?... Is it normal not to like fast food after eating healthy for a long time? I also get sick to my stomach after eating a brownie! I can only eat a little piece of chocolate or junk food at a time, or I feel sick. Is that okay?

MODERATOR, You think running will tone up my legs? WRONG! I run constantly already. I'm obsessed with it and pretty good too. I run 2-3 miles a day! I have for a while. So the only thing I can conclude is that I hate my body, and obviously, my body hates me too! Anything besides running? (I do lunges too, so I don't think that'll work)

MODERATOR, I have another problem. I've been eating really well for a long time now and am super careful with my portions. You'd think this is good, right? Well it's complicated now 'cause all of a sudden I can wake up starved but then i eat two strawberries and I'm totally full for the whole day pretty much! I feel bloated, and stuffed up, no joke. So if I have a granola bar for breakfeast and an apple for lunch I'm stuffed up by dinner. If I try to skip out my dad completely yells at me about how my habits are wrong, even if I just eat a salad for dinner! This is becoming a real problem 'cause my dad gets really really angry. I'm just saying, that's the type of person he is. He just yells a lot and has a stupid attitude. But the problem is when I'm already full and he makes me eat. It makes me feel sick. That's just too much food for me to handle right now, I don't know why my stomach is doing this but how can I get my dad to just cool it already?
Hey Girl, try slowly working your way back up to eating more normal portions, you need to eat three balanced meals a day.. tell your dad you will start eating dinner but needs to be smaller amounts in the beginning so you dont feel sick. *Cara T*

I LOVE making these I eat 'em all the time. I add cucumbers and peppers though, and I don't use avocado. Shredded carrot is a good add on, too I'm a vegetarian, so I bring these for school lunches a bunch. Thanks for posting this recipe!

MOD, sometimes i feel over weight, i mean i jus read the comments n der r 2 girls who r 13, 5'1, n 78 pounds!! im almost 13, 5'1 n weight 108!! i mean, i now im healthy n all but i hate tellin ppl my weight... wat can i do? o yeah, n i do hav some fat on me... how do i get it off?!! i jog n do a daily workout, which is 4 my abbs, thighs, n arms, but i havent lost it yet. should it b gone by the end of august? my goal is 2 hav a super toned body b4 scool starts

i_rock_big_socks!!!!! ur weight is ttly healthy i am 5'4 1/2" and i weigh 130 which is ttly healthy cuz most of my body is pretty good but i have a lot of boob weight i cant get rid of...its great that your healthy but dont stress b/c it will make you gain weight...you sound really healthy
