~MOD~ I have a friend who has a eating disorder. Her mom recognized some signs, and now she is getting help. But she is still skipping meals, and lying to her mom, and everybody about it. A friend and I had an adult tell her mom about skipping lunch on friday after we figured out she was lying. But thurs night, we were at a school carnival. Before leaving, she took and apple, but her mom said not to eat it until she had dinner. The my friend said she had had a combo meal: pizza with pop, chips and fruit. The problem is, i was with her the entire time since we came together, and she sisnt eat anything. I don't want to tattle, but how can i inform her mom?

Mod*** k i need help so i've like this guy (m) well us and our friends hungout for 3 hours on friday and afterward i was texting him on my friends phone. anyways i asked him who he liked and he asked it back so we went back and forth for a while and then decide we would guess who the other ones like after like 7 guess i guessed myself and he didn't answer so eventually he guessed him self too, so i'm just like admitt it u like me so he still wouldn't so i decided just to tell him and he likes me back but their is only 10 days of school left WHOOO!!! but yeah so we don't want to go out, (also it's suppose to be a secret even though two of my friends know) but yeah we saw him when we were coming back this morning from a park (he he) and he saw us and than went inside to avoid us, so yeah on monday i have to see him again and i sit next to him in 2 of my classes when we usually talk all the time it's going to be aqward since he won't talk to me now and suggestions?? please fyi this is also one of my first relationships so idk anything

***MOD*** I babysat last night and the boys' cousin was there. He was my age and I had a little crush on him and he put his arm around me while the four of us watched TV. I have a boyfriend, but the boy from last night lives in another state and I won't ever see him again. No big deal, right? Well I told my best friend about it and she told my boyfriend. He called to break up with me a while later and I asked him why. He told me that my friend had told him that I cheated on him. I calmly explained everything and we're ok now. I called my friend and said "I cleaned up the mess you made, thanks by the way, but everything's fixed now." and it turned out her mom was the one on the phone. Her mom got angry and yelled at me before hanging up. I feel so completely awful right now. I can't stop crying. First he broke up with me, and then I feel really guilty for something that didn't mean anything at all, and then so completely betrayed by my friend who was the only person I thought I could trust with something I had to get off my chest. This is such crap. What should I do??

*******MOD******** the other night my school hat this thing with all these activities. it ended at 9:30, and my friends and i were outside waiting to be picked up. my mom told me to get a ride home with someone else, or if i couldnt, call my sister. 3 f my friends left really early so i didnt go with them. my other friends dad was angy with her, so i couldnt go with her. that left 2 friends. i had just called my mom and told her that i was going to be home soon, and when i looked up one of m friends was out by her car. my other friend asked if she could get a ride from me i said, that i was supposed to get a ride with someone, but i would call my sister. i was looking through my contacts for my brother and when i looked up i saw my friend in my other friends car driving away. i was suddenly outside and alone (other than a few unmoving cars) at night. I was so scared!! How should i talk to my friend to left me????
She probably was just as concerned about getting home as you were. Once you told her your plan, she probably thought that by "someone" you meant somebody else, plus you could always call your sis. From your POV, it seems rude, but from her's, she was probably confused and really truly thought you knew how you were getting home. If it'll make you feel better, you can approach her about it, but she might tell you the very same thing.

I can usually talk to me bff about anything but this. This guy was constantly asking her out and wouldn't take no for an answer, I found out he likes me instead now. He said he really likes me and is going to ask me out, hasn't done that yet. I like him but don't want to call him bf yet. I am afraid 'bout wat my bff will say. To Tucsonbaby: I would say partly b, but do this instead: talk to one of friends that you think you can trust the most. Then get them to ask him who he likes. If your friends ask him then he'll know that your the want that wants to find out and then he'll know that you like him. Then if he likes you.. WOOPEE!

Strike up convos w/ him about freaky counselors, tough drills, or other camp-related stuff, but let the conversations drift into less basketball stuff as well. mod! please help! there is this girl kelley who flirts with my bf ALL the time. it really bothers me because sometimes he flirts back. Try talking to your boyfriend about your concerns. Tell him that you totally trust him, but it still makes you feel bad that they flirt. He'll understand and stop flirting with her.
