6 holiday flicks we wanna be stuck in

It’s the holiday season, and we couldn’t be more excited. One of the best ways to pump yourself up for any occasion is to (you guessed it) have an awesome movie marathon. We’ve put together the perfect list of holiday flicks for you and your buds to watch this December. They’re all so super entertaining and funny, we just wish they were our lives, like, right now!

Elf

Who wouldn’t want Buddy the Elf (Will Ferrell) as an older brother? From eating spaghetti with syrup and sprinkles to attacking Santa in the mall, Buddy is a crackup—and will keep you laughing for hours.

Home Alone
Don’t we all wish for time without our parents? Well, in Home Alone, Kevin McCallister’s (Macaulay Culkin) wish comes true! He’s left all alone during the holidays and has to defend his home against pesky thieves. This movie might just make you think twice about your wish of no parents…and may even make you want to go spend some extra time with them this holiday season!

The Polar Express
In this enchanting Christmas classic, a doubtful boy joins the magical ride of a lifetime to the North Pole. His adventure is filled with dancing servers handing out hot chocolate, making new friends, and even getting a reindeer’s bell! We wish we could get a personalized gift from old St. Nick. If you could have anything, what would YOU ask for from Santa?

How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Whether you like old, animated films or new, realistic ones, this is the perfect movie for every winter holiday must list. Both versions capture the true meaning of the season: Spreading holiday cheer for all to hear. Plus, Cindy Lou Who is absolutely adorable and makes us want to be just as cheery.

Holiday in Handcuffs
Many of us want that perfect holiday relationship, but Trudie (Melissa Joan Hart) was really after something special. After plenty of dating probs, she decides to kidnap (mannap?) David (Mario Lopez), a customer at the restaurant she works for. She takes him to her parents’ house in the country for the holidays, and eventually, like all good holiday romances, the two end up having feelings for one another. How sweet!

The Holiday
Have you ever just wanted to switch your life with someone else? Amanda Woods (Cameron Diaz) and Iris Simpkins (Kate Winslet) do just that! After having major guy problems, both feel the need to change their scenery and switch houses—and lives. Through this experience, both women find themselves again…as well as a few other things.

Which holiday flick do you wish you were stuck in at the moment? Blog about it, babes.
