Got a shy guy? Try these low-key V-Day dates
My
friends successfully got me and my best guy friend together on
Valentine’s Day. Problem is, my BF and I don’t know where to go
from here. We’re both shy. Any ideas?
Bill: You
have the best of both worlds. Good romantic relationships are
made of people who are also best friends. Do fun old-school
activities, like bowling or Twister, to help both of you shake the
shyness. Shy flies out the window when you have to contort your “left
foot green” over his “right hand yellow.”
Dave: No need for a grand plan on how things should progress. Just enjoy each other’s company, and let things move along. Setting up expectations about this might lead to disappointment. See each other as often as what works for both of you, and the rest will take care of itself. Besides, things will all come crashing down next Feb. 14 when somebody doesn’t get somebody a special enough V-Day/anniversary gift pressure.
