An interview with Boo, the real star of our Feb/March fashion shoot

Boo, the dog, scored quite a starring role in our February/ March photo shoot. We sat down with her to find out what goes on in the glam life of a dog model.

GL: So Boo, we hear that Boo is not your real name. Why did you change it?

Boo: My real name is Juliette, but since everyone always says, “Hey, boo!” the nickname just stuck.

What is your beauty tip for other aspiring dog models?

The best way to apply dog earrings is with eyelash glue!

You seem so genuine and like such a nice dog, but do you ever have diva tendencies?

I always have to have my food heated before I eat.

When you are not modeling for GL, what do you like to do in your spare time?

I protect my house and love to watch Dragon Ball Z!

And what was your inspiration for the pink mohawk? It’s so unique for a dog to have amazing hair!

Elvira’s Mistress of the Dark had a dog named Donk who had a mohawk and I wanted to be tough like her. It used to be blue, but then people thought I was a boy, so now it’s pink.

Did you enjoy modeling with us today?

I had an awesome time!

Special thanks to Boo’s person, Maurice of Dreamland Vintage Boutique, Baltimore, MD.
