I like summer, but I don’t like the way I look in a bathing suit. Help!
Dear Bikini Blues,
Join the club. Most of us have at one time or another picked a fight with our bodies. But it’s time to make peace. You have two goals: The first is to accept the body you *do* have. Don’t waste time wishing you were taller or shorter, that your breasts were bigger or smaller, that you were smaller or had more curves—that’s a brain drain. The second is to take care of that body. If your idea of exercise is walking to the freezer to down a pint of ice cream, then it’s time to make changes. Work out more and don’t go overboard with foods that offer way more calories than nutrition. This summer, make it a goal to start feeling good about who you are and how you look.
