WE TRIED IT: Core Fusion Body Sculpt

For me, January is a mixed month. I’m coming right off of resolution season (work harder!), but don’t wanna exercise outside (it’s, like, 11 degrees!). I’ve been looking for ways to workout indoors that actually challenge my bod.

That’s where Exhale: Core Fusion Body Sculpt came in. It’s a full-body strength-training program that’s broken up into five 10-minute sessions. Perf if you have a short attention span (um, I might’ve been texting between segments) or just wanna sneak in a half hour of exercise (just do your three fave sections.

The toning moves are basic enough for beginners, but the instructors up the ante and make it more difficult in parts. Each mini-workout is focused on one body part and was followed by stretching that aims to sculpt. By the time the DVD was done, I was pretty wiped out.

If ya love yoga and Pilates, you’d probably enjoy the calming-yet-challenging vibe of Exhale: Core Fusion Body Sculpt. If you’re the kinda girl that prefers a high-energy workout (hip-hop, running), you might wanna pass this one by. I’m definitely gonna do this DVD again on days when my workout needs a bit of a boost.
