#Mmmonday: The all-time best after-school snacks

Cookies and milk are so third grade. Whether you sweet, salty or spicy, these crave-worthy treats will have you sprinting home after Spanish.  

 Which tasty treat sounds best to you? What's your go-to after-school snack?

    1.   Bananas and cinnamon

          Slice a banana and dip the pieces in honey and cinnamon sugar for a healthy and easy snack.

    1.   Oreos and peanut butter

          This winning combination is one of our very favorites! Dip an Oreo into some peanut butter to

          create snack magic.

    1.   Homemade caramel popcorn

          Melt butter, brown sugar and syrup in a small pan. Pour over popped popcorn and enjoy!

    1.   Fruit smoothie

          Blend together a handful of frozen strawberries, blueberries, and a banana to make a

          super sweet snack. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream (or yogurt for you health nuts) for

          an extra creamy taste!

    1.   Salsa-mole

    a.   Oh yeah, it’s what you think it is!

          Mix together two scoops of guacamole and one scoop of salsa for a snack with a flavor kick!

    1.  Muddy buddies

         Melt chocolate and peanut butter, cover chex and let them cool. 

         Dip in powdered sugar put in refrigerator. Wait ten minutes and then enjoy this sweet snack!
