Flaunt all your fave things with a cut-out collage to cover your door. Print pics from online and snip stuff from last year’s issues of GL. Tape pics of celebs, fashion, and friends for a personalized look that’s totally free!

Fabulously faux floral

Bring some freshness to your bedroom with colorful flowers. Let the look last forever without feeling phony by making DIY plants out of construction paper and pipe cleaners. Place the DIY pieces in glass vases filled with pretty vase fillers for a crafty nature-feel.

Light it up

Make your space shine with small string lights. Gather up last holiday’s leftovers or pick up new ones from the store. Wrap the sparkling strand around furniture legs or drape it over your bed’s headboard for a chic piece that doubles as decoration and a nightlight.

Write on the walls

From the time you were a toddler, scribbling on the walls seemed super fun-but the damage def wasn’t worth a time-out from the ‘rents. Now, doodling is no longer dangerous with this ultra-temporary trick. Chalkboard paint is cheap and easy to brush over almost any surface.
