Throw the *best* backyard movie night

Summer's almost over, and that means we'll soon be cuddling up inside by the fireplace instead of drinking cold lemonade on the deck. But even though September is just around the corner, there's still a few warm weather days left. Take advantage of the final nights of summer by hosting a backyard movie night with your besties. Here are our top tips:

Skip the itchy grass and creepy-crawly bugs with this fun DIY "lounge". Simply blow up a kiddie pool (if you have younger sibs, you might even have one in the garage already) and fill it with blankets and comfy pillows.

We love these DIY movie ticket invitations. They're super easy and creative. Send one to your crush too, if you're feeling bold!

What's a movie without a big ol' bucket of popcorn? Let everyone choose their own toppings with this popcorn bar. Put out different seasonings, grated cheese, candy bits and of course, melted butter.

Set up a mini "concession stand" next to your popcorn bar stocked with all the necessary goodies. You can also use the stand to put out your party favors for guests to take with them when the movie is over as well.

Have you ever thrown an outdoor movie night? What are your fave movie snacks? Let us know in the comments!
