Make sure it’s your kinda scene

Before your big night out, make sure the party is the kind of place for you. Is your crew going? Are the kids your age? Will there be parents, just in case? If you’re not sure, ask the ‘rents or swap the bash for a cozy night at home.

Pre-party pump-up

Spend some time getting your mind and body ready to rock. Relax and refresh in a bubble bath and give yourself a mani/pedi. Right before ya head out, blast your fave party tunes to get yourself in the mood.

Bring your BGF

Yes, we meant BGF. Bringing your guy friend to a get-together will help you meet some male cuties, without the pressure of going with a crush or your BF.

Branch out

Sticking with the same old crew is sweet, but sometimes it can keep you from meeting fresh faces. Introduce yourself to that new guy from algebra, or tell that girl how much you love her shoes. When it comes to buds, the more the merrier!

Plan your outfit (ahead of time!)

Nothing’s worse than throwing on an average get-up 5 minutes before you rush out the door. Pick your pieces a few hours before to make sure you don’t wind up stressing or wearing a look that’s less-than-chic.

Keep an open mind

Sometimes (OK, most of the time) not every single detail goes exactly as planned. So if you trip on your laces or suffer a wardrobe malfunction, don’t sweat it! Perfection isn’t possible. Just relax and use that positive attitude to make the best of any slip-ups.
