DIY Button Earrings

Looking to get glam fast? Have a slew of extra buttons lying around?
DIY button earrings are oh-so-easy to make. Plus, it's a great proj for a day when you're stuck indoors.

Create a few pairs as prezzies for your friends and fam.

What You’ll Need:

2 matching buttons of your choice
1 set of earring backings
1 bottle of super glue
1 small piece of wax paper

What You'll Do:

1. Place the earring backing on the backside of the button to measure exactly where it is going to be placed. You don’t want the backing to show from the front. Testing the placement of the earring backing is especially important when using large buttons!

2. Take the wax paper and place it down where you’re going to be working. The wax paper is going to be where the button earrings dry after you’re all done.

3. Place about two drops of super glue onto the button where you decided you want the backings. Firmly hold the backing to the button for about ten seconds, until you feel the glue starting to harden.

4. Let the button earrings dry for about 30 minutes, depending on the type of super glue you used. Once they’re ready, put them on and rock your jewelry around town.

For those of you without pierced ears, use clip on backings rather than studs!
