Dear Carol: My BF won't kiss me!

My boyfriend loves me and I love him, but he won’t kiss me. All he’ll do is hug me. I really want him to kiss me. I wrote him a note telling him it was OK if he wanted to, but he never wrote back. What should I do?

 
Dear Want To Be Kissed,

You should give him some breathing room and respect his pace and wishes. Many guys, like many girls, hate to be pressured, and since you’ve already given him a big green light, there’s not much else you can do. If he finally does kiss you, that kiss will count for a lot. Many people make it sound like they’re more experienced than they really are, but it’s smart to take your time with kissing and saying “I love you.” Life is not a race!
