The Story About Shampoo

I have read before that it is better to not wash your hair daily. Is this true? If so, how do you keep it from not looking greasy? I have very dark brown hair and if I don't wash it, it looks really greasy.

Expert Advice From Nelson: The reason why your hair has become greasy is because you have shampooed it too much. When the scalp starts to dry out, your body tells your scalp to produce more oil. Try shampooing every other day and only rinse your hair with water in between. After a week, you will notice that your scalp will stop producing so much oil.

Lots of nights I have to run errands or go to dinner after sports practice and I don’t have time to take a shower. What can I do to still look cute?

Start sipping water stat to cool your bod and make your face less flushed. This cute water bottle helps a great cause, too—they donate $1 to breast cancer research ($16, principessabeauty.com)

Don’t go overboard with the perfume—cause that’s pretty obvious, too.
